A cold breeze whispers in my ear...
"Winter draws near!"
Alas, I had forgotten the calling.
Left it behind, thinking it was not something that could be so.
Now I wonder. Now I see it...
I wait for the call.
The chance to embark in the journey...
The adventure...
To travel across the sea.
Where Winter calls it Home.
Where we will also call it so...
There is not much to say: These are my thoughts. This is my world. This is how it comes through in my head. You are welcome to wander within.

Walls Closing in yet Dreams Still Shine, A Guardian Comes to Life
Some say doors close upon you.
But these are the choices I make.
I feel the need to stay, despite the hardships.
Despite the doors that close.
Life... I will only have one.
Family... I will only have one.
Soul... I will only have one.
Work... I can have many.
I had the need to compromise.
Now I have the need to let the chance go.
So hard to achieve the goals others want.
Yet so easy to find my own.
I'm bound in my own journey now.
A path I chose by my will.
A wife, her daughter.
They are now... my own.
A guardian in the forest.
A guardian in my dreams...
This is what I...
Now become.
Now become.

Possibilities
The days roll fast as the engagement roots,
And winter approaches with a new roof
Sheltering my steed.
I do not fear the change to come,
But it does trouble me.
Beckoning to determine, to understand.
What purpose do I now hold?
This alliance is more than just
Destinies intertwined,
More than mere coincidence or luck.
It is my will.
But will my will take us away?
Far to distant lands...
I'm still wondering.
I'm still thinking.
And winter approaches with a new roof
Sheltering my steed.
I do not fear the change to come,
But it does trouble me.
Beckoning to determine, to understand.
What purpose do I now hold?
This alliance is more than just
Destinies intertwined,
More than mere coincidence or luck.
It is my will.
But will my will take us away?
Far to distant lands...
I'm still wondering.
I'm still thinking.

Losing a Part of Her
Nightmares don't come welcomed in my rest nights,
And tears only once had awaken me...
It was something so forbidden,
It was something so disturbing...
For I ran... and oh, I ran...
And in my hands I had part of her...
It was dying... it was broken...
Find a safe house, find a mender.
For that... I ran.
But I was somewhere lost in thoughts...
Lost in dreams...
Running from scene to another,
Not finding proper destination.
Soon the echoes of ticking in the empty space above
Reminded me that blood can quickly leave your veins.
My guiding star had fallen,
Her loving grace existence now in question.
What would I do...
Who in that dream world would understand the implications?
Sadly... no one did. No one noticed. No one cared.
I tried to explain it... I tried to share it...
But each word cascaded desperation down my throat...
I could not live then... my mind... lost...
So I stopped dreaming, weeping in silence.
Weeping in shame.
For I had lost my way when I was the only one awake...

Far Journeys
Stole away from your memory.
A journey far from over.
Brothers lost and found,
Only to be lost again.
This is how it all began.
This is how it all was.
I rode amongst the crowds,
A stranger in a distant land.
A foreigner, a traveler.
One who yearns for home,
Who dreams of his love.
These are those places,
Both good and bad,
She will never see.
I could bring her back with me?
Back where?
She ponders on simple landscapes,
Close to Mother Earth.
Near Father Sun.
Maybe someday, maybe one day...
I will not have to travel alone.
I will not have to travel alone.
