Seven Winters

 Seven are the winters,

Of ten years marked today,

They come,

They go.

Time now closes upon us,

To trap us not, and remind us:

That if we start with ten today,

A lifetime still awaits…

Tomorrow.

We change, to love more.

And as children grow and with each season wiser,

Closer we become.

Together, you and me, forever.

Applied Solitude

Find the flame that ignites the pace,

That pace, that takes sound away.

Make haste, 

Make speed,

Lead on...

Grant welcome to silence in this place.

Remorse

No verses to say thoughts that make no sense, 

A whirlwind of words, of spilling blood and breaking points, 

An uncertain room of contempt. Echos of solitude and desperation, 

Memories of weakness that drive anger down the spine, 

Vampire to my soul over you. 

Please let me understand, 

Why would I want to close your eyes? 

I don't want to go that way, 

Surrendering whole into shadow.

New Day

 

Dream too big,

Take time to break out.

Make a new name,

Open your eyes.

Get back again

To fly high,

Heaven sent

To turn back the time.
