We Live to Drink Water

Dissolving through the mist of my dreams,
I came to banish my exile...
This was the word:

"In the middle of the river there is a boat.
Uncharted lights make it easier to the Free Lands,
Whenever truth comes friendly, as it should.
Rejoice in the sense that maybe you can still feel it,
That transparent darkness in which you float.
For in it's absence, how would you know?"

Embrace the limit of these two bands.
Again will prevail the center force -
The balanced rhythm of gentle beatings.
Each breath, the flowing will then continues,
Sliding aside of many sleepers; Dreaming.
All this, bordering the shores of distance lands.
Unknown to you
Or me.

When did you remember such a searching thrill?
Of truth be told and unlocking reason?
How delicate should this plated present be bestowed?

Behold...

Take this from the heavy vaults of well kept secrecy,
And share the reasons why the river still flows serene.

Come drink from my glass...
This water is for you
And me.

After Ten Nights of Dreaming

"You got to be stone.
You got to take the blow.
You got to let yourself know.

You got to.

When a thousand phrases
Get to mean nothing
The trust gets broken
Never to reopen

I have no reason
To feel sympathy
As cruel as you were
Your voice I won't forget.

When a thousand phrases
Get to mean nothing
The trust simply gets broken
Never to long again.

So you...
You..

You are to blame for this disgrace
You alone have fallen long from grace
What was left unspoken
Came to be my silent torment
You seemed to have never asked yourself

Why I'm chasing you behind stars...
Why I am dreaming lost in your eyes..."

- Friend, your sorrow I felt -

Hide from Me

And who I'm I to doubt a dream,
If no difference will it make.

My voice cannot tell what take
And what leave untouched.

So who I'm I to break a will,
As if it were my choice.

Eventually I'll learn to feel
Between that simple noise
And that line to follow.

But today, I must confess...
I don't know who I was...

Of Chaos and Hope

...Hear how my heart feeds...
...No innocence is for certain...
...Life can tell you that...

...It's your wound that one that bleeds...
...I never decided to climb the mountain...
...And I'm happy leaving it just like that...

What do you know, that I may want to know?
Ask me what warmth can I feel?
Up there, only the icy wind can blow.

Tell me what I want to hear...
Is that how it goes?

Without a returning sense of the landscape
How can I let you run loose...
Oh sweet emotion, where to you wish take me?

Bending the sound to fill the silence
I heard your voice,
It wasn't a coincidence and it wasn't fate either...

The excitement these news bring I can't deny,
But hope becomes less cheap each day...

Spawn of my own,
Look at the chaos that you brought upon the land!
Look how the land embraces you!
They adore you...
They claim you as their own...
But have they ever stopped to question,
Where do you come from?

I guess that's why they call it hope...
I guess that's why...
They call it hope...

Soon

Cough
I breathe
Cry
She breathes

Now days will be measured
With years progressing

And this green fur that
Coats my body -
Imprisons my blood
Imprisons my soul

It will leave soon
I will live soon
Broken down inside
Flowing down each stride

Everyday brings it closer
A moment of clarity
A sight to take note of

Soon

Dance 'Round the Fire

Shall it fill me up with such grace
For a few days
To see your face...

Dance,
"Put the fire! All around!"
Let it burn,
Bring the flame.

Morning lights every face
In every sense
Every pace...

Come down, no disgrace
No more hiding
In this place

Wash me clean in one phrase
Waving waters
Sins ablaze!

Dance,
Let the lake run dry
Fill me up 'til I cap
Like watered wet white sand.

To the shore...
To the sea...
Into that great dream...
