My Firefly

Foreign days with sunless sunsets,
Oh pity, the sunrises too early to catch.

Eternal waves dance to the rhythm of the spirals,
Traces left behind by your butterflies...

The only joy in watching the tainted sky turn black,
Is knowing you will dance tonight...

My firefly...

Pace yourself, the beats come one after the other,
And yet the melody never ends.
Flowers and circles race past my eyes,
Your grace signed with a smile...

Black dressing, pale skin, burning lights...
It is the fire that runs through the night.

A dark grin masked by wanton innocence.

A kiss from a firefly...
